Dietary supplements, such as the vitamin B sup...

When I shop for items I try to look for the best deals. There are times when I patronize three or four stores in one day just so that I can save money.

I believe in health, fitness, beauty and wealth.  I meditate and take daily vitamins. Well, I’ve been hearing so much about B-12 vitamins. It’s a great source for energy.  Since I have a hectic schedule, I figured I could add it to my regimen.

So, here I am now taking a daily multivitamin, Vitamin C, Vitamin D and B-12 tablet.  I purchased the B-12 vitamin from Walgreen for $10.49.  I thought it was a deal…

My husband who has no sense of saving a penny and only will patronize one store for his vitamins purchased a bottle of B-12 vitamins from GNC.  Here’s the deal…his bottle was ONLY $5.99.  Wow, what a difference!

Let’s compare…

  • 1 bottle of B-12 vitamins
  • 100 tablets
  • 5,000 mcg
  • $5.99

  • 1 bottle of B-12 vitamins
  • 50 tablets
  • 2,500 mcg
  • $10.49

So, you can see my frustration.  I was ripped off. The moral of this story is don’t limit yourself and assume the drug store is the best deal.  I will now log onto both websites to compare the price, count and potency before jumping into the car.
