As you know it is Financial Literacy Month. I could not allow this month to pass by without sharing my knowledge of financial awareness with each of you.
What is Financial Literacy Month?
National Financial Literacy Month is recognized in the United States in April in an effort to highlight the importance of financial literacy and teach Americans how to establish and maintain healthy financial habits.
How did I contribute?
It was my pleasure to speak at a few events while providing my book, Women Building Wealth, that is also available on Amazon in paperback and Kindle. The events were great and well received as we discussed everything from budgets, investments, clarity of goals and habits to financial wellness. It doesn’t matter what your goals are, we all seek freedom defined by our standards.
While Financial Literacy Month is wrapping up, I am still on a mission to make sure Women Building Wealth becomes a household goal for every woman. Too often we take care of everyone else except ourselves, while also neglecting our finances. I strongly believe for myself and others that our lives are not perfect, but it has purpose. Once you are able to focus and work on your habits everything else falls into place.
Can you live a life that you deserve? Absolutely, it is through discipline, not deprivation. Now is the time to secure your future through wealth (wholeheartedly encourage activity leading to happiness).

Women Building Wealth is designed for women who want to succeed and leave a legacy. Women are influential in household spending, reducing debt, and supporting others. Yet they are not confident in maintaining a worthwhile existence. Who said that it isn’t possible for women to have it all while taking control of their life including money? Women can have anything they want as long as they have clarity about their future and understanding about the past. As a woman, for years I struggled with balancing my life from financial abuse to accountability. Never did I think that I would share with each of you the habits I changed to get me where I am today. Prepare to exercise W.E.A.L.T.H.—wholeheartedly encourage activity leading to happiness!
