As our nation celebrates the second term for President Barack Obama, Chicagoans must acknowledge the landslide win for Jesse Jackson Jr. Yes, he won a re-election to the Illinois 2nd Congressional district.
In any normal election this wouldn’t catch the attention of many, but this win was done without any effort. Jesse Jackson Jr. won his seat without a fundraiser, campaign, and no interaction with voters.

Once the Doctors approve my return to work, I will continue to be the progressive fighter you have known for years. My family and I are grateful for your many heartfelt prayers and kind thoughts. I continue to feel better everyday and look forward to serving you.”
