Many wonder how a person can adapt to multiple roles while never skipping a beat. I’ve never met a person who at one time in their life didn’t shuffle through the motions in a Zombie state. At times, it’s consider an out-of-body experience.
Have you ever been daydreaming to never realize how you reached your destination? Unfortunately, functioning in that existence will not allow you to view your surroundings, understand your situation and apply for future use. The organization of time management will help you walk consciously through life. Besides, if you’re constantly in a Zombie state then you’ll never understand and appreciate what you have to offer to others.
Anyone who knows me, knows that I take my planner everywhere I go. A day planner used properly will allow you to properly keep track of your time. In the beginning you may not appreciate its features, but over time it will allow you to stay focus. Keep in mind that you want to be spontaneous in some areas of your life…relationship.
You will be able to view where you are wasting time in your day. It’s the end of the day and you may wonder what was actually accomplished. Sometimes the answer is nothing.
Prioritize your goals. Don’t create a paper roll of things to do. Your list should be a priority of your accomplishments for the day. Three to five goals will allow you to have a sense of accomplishment and your will be able to create an actionable timeline to implement.
Chaka Khan sang it best “I’m every woman”. Although we would love to feel that we are at times “every woman” needs assistance. Use your resources and delegate work for others to carry out and implement.
You are only one person who needs to stay on track of your daily goals with the proper techniques. It’s feasible to accomplish and feel a positive self-worth towards yourself.
