Organization Is a Positive Behavior Toward Success

I visited a person’s office that was full of chaos.  The desk was piled high with papers, the books and shelves were covered in 2 inches of dust and the floor had manila folders scattered with post it notes.  To no surprise, there was a sign on the wall stating…”There’s an organization to my clutter”.

In spite of what you may think, clutter isn’t organization.  To organize is to systematize. When you think of many successful individuals, you wonder about their ability to multi task.  Although, they have a great group of staff directing their next move, it doesn’t come easily.  It comes with organization.

Disorganization is a distraction of what’s truly important.  You begin to focus on what should be done and not actually doing.  To organize your life more efficiently you need three things.

1. Monthly Planner with a time calendar

2. File cabinet with manila folders

3. A routine that works

As you move forward with your goals, you want to make sure that you are prepared for any obstacles that may occur.  Again, this positive behavior will get you over the finish line.  It doesn’t matter if your goals entail finances, employment or relationship. Planning your next step is an objection to failure.
