I recently overheard a conversation with a man and woman. You could tell he really wasn’t into her, but she couldn’t read the signs. As she professed her love for this guy, he responded by stating “Love yourself, you get better results”. After my initial shock, I had to agree with him.
At times, people put more energy into others than they do themselves. When you begin to love yourself unconditionally, you appreciate what you have to offer. There’s no reason why this young lady or anyone for that matter allow someone else to have that much control over their life.
I routinely recite in my workshops that how you act and what you do
transitions into other areas of your life. It’s impossible to excel at home and be mediocre in the workplace. Once you decide how you want to carry yourself, embrace your unlimited power and be viewed by others…life will forever change.

As harsh as this guy was, It got me thinking about how we expect others to define who we are. It’s time for reevaluation of your self-worth.
